Biography
In her sophisticated civil litigation practice, Robin Smith represents individuals and business entities in complex catastrophic personal injury matters, including product and premises liability. She also represents employers in labor and employment matters including discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment and wage and hour violations. Additionally, Robin defends a variety of businesses, including new and pre-owned automobile dealers, in breach of contract, unfair competition, unfair business practices, defamation, and consumer claims. Robin is known as an efficient, honest, aggressive, and hard-working attorney who works to find a cost-effective resolution for her clients.
During law school, Robin gained valuable experience and an insider perspective of the judiciary and litigation issues by serving as a judicial extern for both the Honorable William McCurine, Jr. (Ret.) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the Honorable Luis R. Vargas (Ret.) in the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego.
Her community involvement includes membership in the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Young Leaders professional group, the San Diego County Bar Association, and San Diego Defense Lawyers. She graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law. While in law school, Robin served as an associate notes and comments editor for the California Western Law Review. Prior to earning her law degree, Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of San Diego.
